Royal Beluga caviar is one of the most valuable and expensive types of caviar. It is obtained from Beluga sturgeon, which weighs 50-400 kilos and can live up to 50 years.
Beluga caviar varies in color from dark grey to light grey. Light varieties are more sought after as they have the richest flavor and come from the oldest sturgeon. Golden Beluga is a rare form of Beluga caviar and has a very rich flavor of dark-light grey hue.
Royal Beluga Caviar is fresh and does not contain any additives.
It is sold in vacuum cans and glass jars in accordance with the international food codex.
Caviar should be stored in the coldest part of your refrigerator, usually on the lower shelf.
