Royal Ossetra caviar is one of the most valuable and expensive types of caviar (its price is overshadowed only by Beluga caviar). It is obtained from Ossetra sturgeon, which weighs 50-400 kilos and can live up to 50 years.
Ossetra caviar varies in color from dark brown to golden and dark green. Light varieties are more sought after as they have the richest flavor and come from the oldest sturgeon. Golden Osetra is a rare form of Ossetra caviar and has a very rich flavor of golden yellow and green hue.
Royal Ossetra Caviar is fresh and does not contain any additives.
It is sold in vacuum cans and glass jars in accordance with the international food codex.
Caviar should be stored in the coldest part of your refrigerator, usually on the lower shelf.
